The hotel is right on the red district street (there are two streets for this running parallel) so there’s lots of foreign old men in the area staying for the women however the hotel do a lot to protect against any kind of illegal activities protecting underage women which is great to see. We were two young females staying and we felt super safe in the hotel. The staff were amazing super helpful and kind, cocktails are safe and delicious and the location is central. Food was fresh. Hotel helped us organise tours and airport pick up. Amazing view from roof and the gym is super clean and well maintained with an epic view of city. Beds had stains on sheets but the staff did daily room cleaning. There’s a refundable room safety deposit on arrival. Safe is big enough for laptops.

Breakfast food options were good. Pool area is good to but would be better if there was more ambience as it appeared no one was going there in the evening I was there, compared to one of the other Sky Bars I went to in the area which was clearly focused on entertainment and a great environment. The bed at Sun & Moon is one of the most comfortable beds I have experienced, this is one of the reasons why I keep going back!!! The reception and support staff there, are also excellent, always willing and obliging!!

The location right in the centre of the city. The roof top bar with infinity pool. The room was spacious and the shower was fab!!

Pool was super nice. Great to chill and relax. the spa was great, felt professional. Rooms were modern, well designed and very comfortable.

The hotel is very functional, rooms are big, beds are very comfortable. The pool was nice, there were enough sun beds, towels were provided. The gym is well equipped, with a gorgeous view over the city. The staff is very helpful, kind, talkative, ready to help you with information and bookings. Breakfast buffet was standard, food was good. Hotel is very near to the central and night market, as well as the riverbanks. The royal palace is 20 minutes away by foot.

This was the 3rd time I have stayed at Sun & Moon, as an airline employee, and I stay above average in hotels, so I want this hotel to deliver in most ways. Clean, rooftop pool with great views of the city and river. Warm welcoming staff who always do everything to make you have a comfortable stay. I will return to Phnom Penh, and without a doubt I will choose to stay here next time. all the best from a satisfied Norwegian customer

The Sun and Moon while overall is worth considering for your visit to Phnom Penh due to its location near many local attractions plus the benefit of a rooftop pool and bar which is a blessing due to the hot and humid weather. Just be aware that there are some trade offs.

Spacious comfortable room with very good shower pressure in the bathroom. Great location central to everything. Staff are fantastic, and the rooftop bar is a good spot with expansive views. Airport pick-up and drop off is also available by contacting the hotel, which saves hassle. Transfer time can take up to 45 minutes depending on traffic

Great location! Near to the riverside. We were fortunate to stay here while the water festival was going on. The hotel was very close to all the festival's happenings. The hotel is near to a string of bars so could be noisy on some nights. The rooftop and the infinity pool were fantastic! Also, the food was very good! Noodles were delicious! Very modern, futuristic hotel. Room was nice and spacious.
